Credits And Community Mechanics

Credits and Community Mechanics

Because EloGrade is a web app that involves both input and output with its community, a system is in place to offer an incentive for the community to compare others' photos. This is a site where users essentially compare other people's photos, so that their own get compared by others in return. So the comparisons a user does is tracked as credits, and photo submissions require and consume credits.

Each comparison gives 1 credit

Every time a user does a photo comparison, 1 credit is always added.

Each photo submission costs 30 or more credits

In order to submit your own photos, you use your credits. The first photo submission costs 30 credits. Subsequent submissions are subject to the increasing burden of comparisons.
